Established in 1987, Team Construction Corp.'s roots date back three generations, when President Richard "Richie" Wells would watch his grandfather and father build homes from the ground up in northern New Jersey. Each home was a well orchestrated process that involved planning, teamwork and the application of fine craftsmanship. Richie watched the home become an expression of its owner and soon, Richie developed a deep desire to "create." Coupled with innate mechanical abilities, Richie went into the building business and worked his way up from laborer to project manager to president. He learned how to work with each purchaser - listening to their needs and incorporating those needs into classic homes of enduring style and quality.

Richie Wells is a member of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA). He currently serves as President for the Builders and Remodelers Association of Northern New Jersey (BRANNJ). He chairs the Public Relations and Education Committee which holds free seminars open to the public throughout Northern New Jersey. The seminars are designed to educate homebuyers/homeowners on the process of selecting a qualified contractor.

Today, his background and understanding enables Richie to set the tone as he heads a team of seasoned professionals, who, like him, believe that if you are going to do a job - you have to do it right.

To Richie and his team's credit are more than 140 finely crafted new luxury homes and renovation projects in some of the most sought after neighborhoods throughout New Jersey. From traditional-style colonials to extravagant estates to stylish additions, each project is as individual as its owner and is so finely crafted - its inherent beauty will withstand the tests of time. You immediately notice the difference of a Team Construction home or Team Remodeling project.
